About Us

Meet Dr. Mary Lewis

Dr. Lewis was born to be a dentist. She has a unique affinity for the science and art of dentistry, and she also has an acute compassion for people.

Dr. Lewis earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, then attended Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond to earn her dental degree. She then completed a general practice residency through University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill – Hospital. Her clinical externships included dental emergency care, outpatient clinical care, and working with the elderly and handicapped.

As for postgraduate education, she has completed coursework with Pankey Institute and Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, respected institutions in the dental community. She holds membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an organization that promotes excellence in esthetic dentistry. Dr. Lewis continues to seek training in the latest procedures and technology the dental field has to offer – because our patients deserve the best!
